Lotteries
Revenue from our charitable lotteries is generated through four programs: the Foothills Hospital Home Lottery, Hospital Home Lottery, Home Lottery Mountain Edition, and WinWin Staff Lottery. These programs deliver strong returns and are a cornerstone of our overall success, making up 43 per cent, or $16,843,137, of our net revenue. We regularly assess each lottery to ensure it continues to provide value and meet performance expectations. Program expenses primarily include prize procurement and marketing. We are proud to operate some of the most efficient lottery programs in Canada.

Our Finance & Audit Committee of the Board ensures we continue to operate both efficiently and effectively, while pursuing opportunities to grow our organization’s impact for our donors, our community, and healthcare. We report financial information in two ways: Audited Financial Statements available on the Foundation’s website (givehealth.ca/ financials2026) and through filing the Registered Charity Information Return (T3010), which can be found on the Government of Canada’s website. While both formats utilize the same information, Calgary Health Foundation’s Audited Financial Statements provide a more detailed assessment of the organization’s performance.
